Spring 2014

We all know that spring is the season for preppy and girly style, just because of the color palette of the season. Let's talk about a spring trend that seems to stay intact, pastel colors. Baby pinks and baby blues just seem to never go away! This season is the girl season because of very think that's happening. If you guys look at the picture on the top you will see some of my favorite trends and classics for spring, this season is all about transition form winter to summer so have fun with it. Mix some of your fall and winter pieces with cool spring ones to make the transition season the best it can possibly be. This time of year as I mentioned before I love wearing pastel colors but I also try to mix some dark and bright colors to give it an unexpected feel. 

#OOTD

The best part about living in an island is that the weather never changes and it's always like summer time, this means that it's cool to style because you can always wear shorts, skirts, or dresses and wear fun bright patterns. Today I'm going to be wearing a cool floral top that I got from Nordstrom, A pair of bright orange sandals, some silk like material shorts from Marshalls, and my favorite bag. Here you guys have the first of a series that I'm going to try to do everyday and it's going to be called #OOTD. 

Grand Slam Style

With inspiration from this past Australian Open (which the winners are Li Na and Stan Wawrinka) I give you guys three different looks for the three Gamd Slams that are left. If you or someone you know are going to one of these tournaments I hope that this gives you some imspirarion or outfit ideas. 

The French Open is the next one and this is one of the best just because of the localization and LITERALY everything else. For this tournament I chose light natural and pastel colors to give to a more classic look. 

Wimbeldon is the third one and it's played on a grass court I mean how cool is that. For this one I chose darker colors and warmer clothes because of the usual weather in London. 

Last but not least the US Open of course it's in New York, which gives the tournament a lot of glam. Here I mixed two patterns one in the shorts which is like a flowery patterns and a simple striped one on the top, after I mixed a bit the accessories with a bright red bag and a black pair of sandals.

Home Decor Inspiration

Everyone has a different style and here I'll show you guys some pictures that inspire me when it comes to home inspiration. You can see as you scroll down that there aren't many pictures of just one style but many of diff end, this is like this just because I like many different styles when it comes to interior design and decoration, my style can go from relaxed island to city queen in a heart beat.  (PS February comes with lots of surprises and maybe even a room tour.)

Travel Style

Comfort and style are the most important things when it comes to airport style and here are some tips to how to dress both ways for your next trip. First sweatpants or jeans are the best way to travel just because they will look good with anything they are simple and they go great with any weather. For the top I usually go with something classic like a regular solid color tee. Ballerinas or sneakers all the way because they are comfortable and keep your feet safe from anything. Some airlines let you take two bags a carry on and a handbag and honestly this is great just because you can carry a big bag with your computer and snacks and a small or a crossbody bag that you can put any important document. This is the only place were the less accessories you wear the better because this are things that you will probably be taking off constantly and can get lost easily. Beauty is very important I think that the less makeup you wear the better and your hair in a ponytail or hair bun is the way to go. I hope that my travel tips have helped you!
